So this week as flown by quickly. I have been really busy with some personal things that have been going on. The phone has been ringing off the hook all week. I wish I could share with you some of the stuff that has been going on but some of it is about a foster child so the information is confidential. Anyway I did go to Oro Grand, CA and checked out the school that my kids are going to be going to. I was shocked at the area at first but quickly got over it when I met all the staff and some of the teachers. They gave us the grand tour and I was impressed at how efficient and nice everyone was. I did enroll the girls in to this school. I felt good about it when I was there. I just wished they would find a diff rent campus. Perhaps a newer one or up date the one they have. Everything seems really old. Oh well can't have everything.

Steve is changing his breaks on the Camry today. We have attempted this for several weeks and every time he starts he never completes the job because of one thing or another. Last week he purchased the wrong breaks. So this week he is going to accomplish his task. Anyone that might know my hubby knows that this is a really challenge for him. Steve is not Mr. Handy man if you know what I mean. Sorry Steve but it is true and you know it. We have some funny things to tell about someday. I should start a blog just about my husband and his projects. They would be very entertaining to read. Hope you all have a great day! See you Sunday!

Today has been an interesting day for me. I have been working on an upcoming Enrichment Meeting on May 1, 2008. I am the new Enrichment Leader and I feel like I am in over my head. I can't seem to get any speakers or better yet can't think of anyone good to talk about Temples and what it took to get to the temple. Also I am working on ideas for invitations and so far I have not been inspired by anything.

I have decided to sign my children up for Kindergarten at "Riverside Prep". This is a big step for me because I have had so many options to choose from but I do feel that this is the better school for my children. I hope I am not wrong. I love my kids and they are excited to go to school with kids they know from church and pre-school. My only sad thought is that they will be riding a bus. I always wanted to take my kids to school, walk them to the door and then kiss them good bye. I guess it will have to be at a bus stop and not the class room door. Oh well. The public school system in CA is such a mess. I am fearful for my kids. Tomorrow I will be signing them up. Pray that I don't forget to enroll my children.

More tomorrow!

My Weekend

I hope this blog will not bore anyone to death. But then again how can the Wheelers be anything but entertaining. My weekend started on Thursday with my water heater almost blowing me to bits or I should say "burning me" with scalding hot water shooting out of the top of the contraption. I was so scared that I thought I was going to die. Anyhow I just saved $500 in our savings just for this new water heater HA! HA! Guess we wont be taking any summer vacation this year. I am waiting for the next thing to break. I wonder what it is going to be next. Maybe the car will break down or we will have an earth quake and the house will split in to two. Who knows but so far this year has been the craps with money issues and replacing things. Then on Saturday I decided to take Jasmine and Jessica out for some "Special Mommy Time". I took them to the Nail Salon to get there toes and nails painted. Jasmine wanted to have a Manicure (I didn't think she new what that was but surprise) So I gave in and let her get one. I have created a monster and now she LOVES it. Jessica said she would "try" to be a big girl because only big girls get there nails done. She had a fun time screwing herself into every massage chair that was free and then spinning on the little stools that the workers sit on to give pedicures. I love her so much but I will think better of taking Jessica again. Afterwards we went to Mc Donald's and had lunch. Jessica had a melt down over some coins she would not keep in her pocket so I took it away thus causing the melt down. I just love it when she does things like this. Everyone was looking at me, and I just ignored Jessica and tried to pretend that I was not irritated. She finally settled down and we ended up having a nice lunch together with some great conversation. She can be a funny girl at times and she has learned allot. Jessica is a very observant child. I can't pull the wool over her eyes. Jasmine kept saying several times that we should just go home because of Jessica's bad behavior. She is not being a "big girl". Her words not mine. I just smile! Bless her little heart. I am looking forward to a wonderful week next week. Please pray for me...... and the family.
