Spring has Come!

Welcome Spring!
Spring is probably my most favorite season of the year next to fall. I love how the flowers start blooming in my yard and the cherry trees or fruitless mulberry trees are so beautiful this time of year. Spring is a time of newness, a time to reflect on the spirit and purpose of life, a time to wear bright colors, and a time to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ! It is also a time to start your spring cleaning! We all have to do it. So start planting your gardens and painting your fences for the summer is not to far away.

Children in the Night!

Have any of you wondered just exactly your children do while you are SLEEPING? Well last night we found out. It was close to midnight and I thought the kiddo's were in bed, but I was wrong! While studying in our office I heard this weird sound that kind of sounded like someone was trying to start their car so I ignored it! About 10 minutes of this strange sound going of and on Jasmine started screaming for her Dad! Steve went to investigate to find Evan on the top bunk playing with Jasmine's radio and the sound I heard was static from a the clock radio being turned on and off. Poor Jasmine was so scared and groggy that she thought that Evan was a ghost. Anyway, when Steve went to take Evan to bed he noticed that Evan had colored with marker all over his face, in his mouth, and all over his hands. We asked him where the markers were and he said, in a very innocent voice, "On Jasmines bed" Thanks for letting us know sweetie! We put him to bed and shut his door again. At 4:30 a.m. we were woke to the sound of someone trying to get into our room. I could tell it was Evan and neither Steve and I wanted to get up, but when I heard his little patter of feet run back towards the kids rooms I was sure he was going to wake the girls. Then he started to holler for Ariel to wake up! Steve dashed out of bed to save the day! Evan had an active night but took a three hour nap this afternoon.

Being a parent can be very interesting!
