My son Evan is keeping me busy. I am always wondering where is Evan? He defiantly keeps us on our toes. I can't believe that he is almost 18 months old. Adopting Evan is going to be one of the best days of my life. I have a special bond with him. He makes me laugh, smile & stress all at the same time. He is very different than then girls. He loves to throw things, climb things and tease his sisters by taking there toys and then running away as fast as his little legs will go. It is amazing how fast they learn how to pick on each other. I have a feeling that I am going to have some serious sibling squabbles to solve as they grow-up.

I am so blessed to be a mother and I take being a parent seriously. God has in trusted his children in to my care and I intend to make him very proud of me. I pray for patients and guidance in raising my babies. I am so thankful for a wonderful husband. He has supported our family in anyway he can from day one. He loves his children and it shows when he plays with them. Steve has always been an "Active" father. I know that I can count on him to help with the children. From diaper changes to bath time to stories, songs and bedtime routine he sees to it that everyone gets his undivided attention. I want to say one last thing. Fun in the Yard!

Yesterday the sun was shining and the air was HOT! HOT! HOT! I can't wait to get to the beach at the end of the month. In the mean time we can stay cool in our own backyard. The kids have been hounding us for a new pool so yesterday we went to Toy's R' Us and purchased and new pool. It seems like every year we are buying a new pool. At least it is giving us some new found fun.

Pre-School Graduation!

We have had another mile stone achieved in our family. Jasmine and Jessica have graduated from Tiny Tots Pre-School. They loved the class and did many fun things during the year. Mrs. Christy was a great teacher and she always made sure that the kids had a fun learning experience. I am so proud of my girls. I am so glad that they have had the experience of making new friends and learning the ABC'S and 123's .

Jasmine learned to write her name and has begun to read a little bit. Jasmine picked up on the Academic side of learning quickly. She was also the social butterfly of the class. Jasmine informed me earlier in the year that she had a boy friend and his name was Steven. At first I thought that she was talking about her Dad but when I questioned her more about this boy I quickly realized that she really thought that this kid was her boy/friend. I asked her if she "liked" him and she said "he is my friend and he is a boy so he is my Boy Friend Duh! I was so relieved! I am no looking forward to the teenage years.



Jessica has had a hard time learning to write her letters but the girl knows everything about animals, weather and is very linguistic. She wanted to do all the craft projects and also loved learning all the songs they did. She really loved "exercise time". Mrs. Christy taught them all how to do push-ups, sit-ups and other exercises and they did them every time they had class. Jessica can actually do a sit-up. I can't even do that!


Each one of my girls are beautiful daughters of God and each has a personality of their own. Their eyes shine with happiness and they are living life to its fullest. They are strong and are learning things at a rapid pace what more can a Mother like me ask for?

Helping

Yesterday was a very spiritual day for me. I was able to go and help with the Stake Humanitarian project. Our ward has been collecting tubes of toothpaste, combs, bars of soap, hand towels & toothbrushes so we could put together hygiene kits for the Churches relieve aide. We did over 200 or so of the kits. We also put together kits for our own stake along with 24 fleece blanket to use during emergency's. Our Stake has a goal to be prepared for our own emergency's. The blankets and kits are a great start.



During the Humanitarian project the Blood Bank was there so that anyone that wanted to donate blood could. 39 people ended up giving blood. WOW! I love being part of helping the needy. So many people are suffering in one way or another. If and when you ever have an extra dollar in your pocket I encourage you to give it away to someone in need. Opportunities are everywhere for us to do good. lets start now!

Just another day!

I just love being a Mom. I have been spending quality time with the kids this week instead of cleaning or surfing the web. I have enjoyed playing games and playing with the kids Bonsai water slide.

Evans Social worker came today to visit and she said that his adoption might be completed by August. I am so excited and can't wait to have him sealed to us in the temple. He has been doing so many new things this month. He is climbing everything and I spend most of my time fishing him off of Jasmine and Jessica's bunk beds or the swing set. He gets on the top of the platform and slides down the slide all by himself. He scares me to death. I can't believe that he is only 17 months old. He acts so much older. He doesn't speak many words but he does growl at everyone and everything. He finally waved "bye,bye" today for the first time. He just kept doing it over and over and over.

The girls are doing great! Each one of the has personality plus. I love the stories they come up with. I just wish that I could get them to obey me more often. They are in the habit of climbing the backyard fences into the neighbors yards to play with there stuff. I have good neighbors that don't mind because they have kids the same age but still it is a little bit weird and I can't get them to stop doing it. I need to come up with a good punishment for breaking this rule.
