- Women over 50 don't have babies because they would put them down and forget where they left them.
- A friend of mine confused her Valium with her birth control pills... she has 14 kids but doesn't really care.
- One of life's mysteries is how a 2-pound box of chocolates can make a woman gain 5 lbs. My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.
- The best way to forget your troubles is to wear tight shoes.
- The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you are doing, someone else does.
- The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight because by then, your body and your fat are really good friends.

- Sometimes I think I understand everything, and then I regain consciousness.
- I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knicker's. Amazing!

- Skinny people irritate me! Especially when they say things like...'You know sometimes I forget to eat!' .....Now I've forgotten my address, my mother's maiden name and my keys, but I have never forgotten to eat. You have to be a special kind of stupid to forget to eat!
- The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing and then they marry him.
- I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are eating too much, impulse buying, and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That's my idea of a perfect day!

The Dentist
This morning was a busy one. I had to take Jasmine and Jessica to the Dentist after I dropped off Ariel at pre-school. The kids were scared. Jessica would not open her mouth for the Dentist. I had to bribe her with stickers to get her to do anything for the poor dentist. I just love taking my kids to the Doctor or Dentist. It is always an event. I did get the chore done and lucky for us Jessica has not cavities but Jasmine has 2 small ones and on next Monday gets to have them worked on. The best part is that they will be giving Jasmine "Laughing Gas". Jasmine was so excited that she gets to have "Laughing Gas" she wanted to call her Dad at work to tell him about her cavities. She said " Dad will be so proud of me because I have 2 cavities". She also told the doctor that her Dad has lots of cavities and that he goes to the Dentist everyday. I was so embarrassed.
Thursday I get to take Ariel to the Dentist for the 1st time ever. I hope she will let them in to her mouth. Will see!
Have a great MONDAY.

Happy Mothers Day
I hope all you mothers have had a great day! Did your loved ones treat you well? I hope so. Steve and the kids have pretty much ignored me all day. They are letting me have some space. Which is a good thing. I have had some time to do things that I like to do. I love read and check the blogs and I never get to many moments for myself. I did call my Mother and wish her a Happy Mothers Day but she couldn't talk long because my sister was waiting for her missionary to call and talk. My Nephew Elder Maughan is currently serving a mission in Upstate NY. He is loving every minute of it. He does say that the people are kind of weird. He has had a couple of baptisms and is doing well.
So what did your spouse or kids do for you for Mothers Day? I am going to make a list and post it on my Blog with the responses. This should be entertaining don't you think?

Crazy Children
Do you ever have a day where you are wanting to pull out your hair one by one? Well today is that day for me. The children are extremely restless and every time I turn my back for just a minute they have done something they shouldn't have done. It started with the kiddies playing nicely in the back yard (wrong) they had taken the rolled dough you use to make rolls for dinner out side and used it to smear it everywhere on the deck. They said it was play dough. Then after I started investigating that mess I noticed color chalk on everything. The slide, the toy car, the fence, the stepping stones & the steps to the slide oh and also it was all over there clothes and all over Evan. It was bad. They also took every pet shop toy they could find and just dumped them everywhere. Well I cleaned up that mess and told the kids to change their clothes while I cleaned up Evan. This request was ignored and when I went to check on them they had filled a bucked with water and soap (they called it a potion) and had taken it in to Jasmine and Jessica's room and proceeded to clean all the toys in the toy box. The floor was wet and soap was all over the carpet. I was so mad. I get that mess cleaned up and got the kids changed and then went to change my shirt and Jasmine had taken the markers from my office and was writing on the wall. She was drawing me a Mothers Day picture. Lucky for me they were washable markers. Anyway I think I need a nap now. I am so tired and yet while I write this they are probable doing something unthinkable.

Enjoyment
I have enjoyed many things this week and one of them was our Enrichment Meeting on Thursday. As you know I am the Enrichment Leader and I am happy with the way things turned out with the event. Our night was centered around "A Temple Experience". We had the Temple Matron of the Redlands Temple come and speak to us about some of the experiences she has had with women coming to the temple. She was excellent./ We also had 2 other wonderful speakers talk on what drove them to take out their endowments. Such wonderful speakers afterwards we had a refreshments and just visited with each other. Everyone was spiritually fed that night and I am so happy that the lord blessed me with inspiration. I think the Women needed to hear some of the things that were said. I hope that we have inspired women to get to the temple and not to delay. I could not do all this alone and I thank my committee and especially Sister Ray. She is a wonderful person and I am growing to love her more and more. She is truly a daughter of god.
