Summer is Back!

This weekend has been so "HOT"! I am not looking forward to being this hot all summer long. I personally like the temperature to be in between 70-80 degrees (Perfect)! My kids have been really wanted to play in the water so I went and purchased an Bonsai water slide from Toys R' Us. The kids have a blast on it. I forgot to take pictures maybe next time. I hope this will last the summer. If you want to get wet come on over. Just wish we had a built in pool to swim in. Maybe next year when I win the lottery.

12 Reasons to love being a Mother!

1. You relish in the moment of your children's bad behavior.
2. You are looking for your next fix of Diet Coke and it is only 9 a.m.
3. All your clothes look like you have just had a food fight with the whole student body of an elementary school.
4. "Sleep" is not a word in your vocabulary. What is sleep anyway.
5. Who needs sleep when you have "Diet Coke" or Starbucks.
6. You listen to every song on the Radio (even the Disney songs) as loud as you can to drown out your kids screaming.
7. You know every word of every song that Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers sing and or every Disney song ever produced.
8. Dr. Laura is your best friend. Rush is your 2nd best friend.
9. Your children want to know if the people talking on the radio are real people and when can we listen to the Disney Station.
10. Your kids don't like to eat anything you make unless it is Pizza, Mac N' Cheese & Corn Dogs.
11. You hate shopping because you have to take all the kids and that is a complete nightmare.
12. You join Weight Watchers or a Gym because it will get you away from the kids for a couple of hours a week. Plus you might loose some weight as an added bonus.

Girlie Wisdom

• Women over 50 don't have babies because they would put them down and forget where they left them.
• A friend of mine confused her Valium with her birth control pills... she has 14 kids but doesn't really care.
• One of life's mysteries is how a 2-pound box of chocolates can make a woman gain 5 lbs. My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.
• The best way to forget your troubles is to wear tight shoes.
• The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you are doing, someone else does.

• I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are eating too much, impulse buying, and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That's my idea of a perfect day!

The Dentist

This morning was a busy one. I had to take Jasmine and Jessica to the Dentist after I dropped off Ariel at pre-school. The kids were scared. Jessica would not open her mouth for the Dentist. I had to bribe her with stickers to get her to do anything for the poor dentist. I just love taking my kids to the Doctor or Dentist. It is always an event. I did get the chore done and lucky for us Jessica has not cavities but Jasmine has 2 small ones and on next Monday gets to have them worked on. The best part is that they will be giving Jasmine "Laughing Gas". Jasmine was so excited that she gets to have "Laughing Gas" she wanted to call her Dad at work to tell him about her cavities. She said " Dad will be so proud of me because I have 2 cavities". She also told the doctor that her Dad has lots of cavities and that he goes to the Dentist everyday. I was so embarrassed.

Thursday I get to take Ariel to the Dentist for the 1st time ever. I hope she will let them in to her mouth. Will see!

Happy Mothers Day

I hope all you mothers have had a great day! Did your loved ones treat you well? I hope so. Steve and the kids have pretty much ignored me all day. They are letting me have some space. Which is a good thing. I have had some time to do things that I like to do. I love read and check the blogs and I never get to many moments for myself. I did call my Mother and wish her a Happy Mothers Day but she couldn't talk long because my sister was waiting for her missionary to call and talk. My Nephew Elder Maughan is currently serving a mission in Upstate NY. He is loving every minute of it. He does say that the people are kind of weird. He has had a couple of baptisms and is doing well.
